When you can't even teach your kids the principles our preach

I am going to be blunt about it, but in my opinion that's the truth. Sarah Palin is a bad parent, not because she does not take care of her children, which I am sure she does well (or at least I hope), but because she has failed to educate them, at least the oldest one. One of the parents fundamental role, apart from providing food and shelter, is providing education. And Palin has failed in that sense: all and every teenagers should know and be informed about the responsibilities and consequences of sex, and it seems her daughter wasn't. Wasn't at all. That's plain pathetic. Read the story on Bristol Palin's interview on CNN here, and ponder the significance of "Abstinence for all teens 'not realistic'".

Poor turkeys and funny kids

Today I discovered an interview of Sarah Palin, chillin while poor turkeys are getting slaughtered. Check out the video at around 1:50, the turkey is fighting for its life, shaking the whole killing apparatus. Who the hell were the PR and the strategists for this woman? Some kind of high school drop-outs or what?

For once, CNN seems to be doing journalism, you know that thing that news channels should have always been doing, but somewhere, sometime, something went terribly wrong, and CNN started blasting flashy images of Hummers crossing the desert and other brain-wash of the sorts. Heck, throw away your television.

Sarah Palin generated the whole spectrum of comedy, from the professionally hilarious of Tina Fey, to the amateurish fun of the hockey moms and the plain dumb of the angry guy bellow. But I guess that is one thing we can give to Palin, she gets people to react violently and voice out their opinions in imaginative ways.
